About Math Teacher Zhang

Math Teacher Zhang makes short, visual math lessons in English, using ideas from the way many teachers in China teach: follow one idea across the grades, draw it before you calculate, and solve it more than one way.

The goal is simple: less fear, and more confidence in math — from fractions all the way to Algebra 1 and Geometry.

How the lessons are made

The lessons are short animations with an AI English voice-over and on-screen captions. Each one explains an idea more than one way, ends with a test-ready write-up, and gives you a problem to try.
